“The Board of Directors shall be composed of the two immediate past
Presidents, the current President, the President-Elect, the First Vice
President, the Vice President of Finance, the ten District Vice
Presidents, and the Chairman of the Council of Presidents. Additional
voting members on the Board are the current President of the Louisiana
Auction Markets Association and four (4) at-large members, appointed
for a twelve-month term by the elected members of the Board of
Directors. All other past State Presidents and the current Presidents
of the purebred associations are recognized as ex-officio members of
the Board, serving without a vote.”

The executive
Committee shall be composed of the two (2) immediate past Presidents,
the current President, the President-elect, the First Vice President,
the Chairman of the District Vice-Presidents and the Vice President of
Finance. The immediate past President shall serve as Chairman of the
Executive Committee. In the event of death, incapacity or refusal to
serve of any member of the Executive Committee, the preceding State
President in point of service shall, upon
notification
accede to the Executive Committee and shall serve as Chairman only if
he replaces the current Chairman.” |
